BOLIVAR — Strafford scrambled for a loose ball after a missed shot while time wound down in the fourth quarter.

A few passes found junior forward Aston Rael open at the 3-point line. He hosted the shot and it fell to tie the game at 52 with nine seconds left.

Thayer took a timeout, got the ball in the hands of senior guard Gaige Pitts. He dribbled full speed up the court, pulled up from 3 and hit the shot with 2.
