In the final game between Kickapoo and Aminu Mohammed, the Chiefs finally came out on the winning end.
Kickapoo concluded the Springfield R-12 Winter Classic with a 69-44 win over Greenwood on Saturday afternoon at JQH Arena.
The Chiefs' win is their first over Greenwood when it's been led by Mohammed. The Blue Jays previously came away with thrilling wins over Kickapoo at the 2019 Blue and Gold Tournament and 2020 Willard Basketball Classic title games.
It was evident Kickapoo wanted it more from the second it took the floor.
