The Central High School baseball and softball programs might soon have a field to call their own.
The Springfield school board is expected to discuss and potentially vote on the construction of a baseball and softball field for Central High School on Tuesday night.
The Central High baseball and softball teams have been the only teams without a home field in the city. They played this past season at Meador Park and at the Killian Sports Complex.
