The seniors on the Fightin’ Irish football team had carried the final scores in their minds long enough. They scratched them on scraps of notebook paper, remembered them while conditioning in the August heat and silently recounted them during the final moments before the Class 3, District 5 semi-final kickoff on Friday night at O’Reilly Sports Complex:
