Although Nixa lost to Milton (Georgia) on a buzzer-beater three in the first round of the Bass Pro Tournament of Champions, there is a positive to draw from the game.

Ruffin finished the game with a valiant 21 points and seven rebounds while shooting 63 percent from the field.
Ruffin’s defense, ability to make tough shots and consistency at the free-throw line was a big reason why Nixa went punch-for-punch with one of the best high school basketball teams in the country.
