When Missouri State’s women’s basketball team was making its run to the NCAA Tournament in March, the question of life after basketball was posed to Tyonna Snow.
The senior do-everything player for the Lady Bears was wrapping up a season when she was named the Jackie Stiles Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year in the Missouri Valley Conference.
She led the way as Missouri State ended a decade-long absence from the NCAA Tournament.
Snow obviously hadn’t thought about what happens when she finishes her playing career, and she took a few seconds to think about it before answering.
