The 2017 MLB Draft came and went and six Missouri State Bears heard their names called.
Junior third baseman Jake Burger became the highest drafted position player in the history of the school when he was selected by the Chicago White Sox with the 11th overall pick.
Trey Turner was selected on the second day by the Washington Nationals in the 10th round with the 313th overall pick. Turner missed most of the 2017 season after he underwent Tommy John surgery.
The third day saw four Bears selected.
Missouri Valley Newcomer of the Year Doug Still was selected by the San Francisco Giants with the 336th overall pick.
