When Ethan Bryan’s daughters get back to school, he can’t wait for them to get the “What did you do on your summer vacation?” question.
The answers given by Kaylea and Sophie will surely catch the attention of their teachers and classmates.
“They can say they went to the White House with their father and celebrated the Royals' World Series championship,” Ethan said in a telephone interview Thursday.
Then he added a little dig.
“Knowing many of their teachers are Cardinals fans, that will be fun,” he said.
Bryan, a freelance writer and author based in Springfield — and possibly the most diehard of Royals fans — enjoyed the experience of a lifetime last week.
