Arguably the greatest player to ever come through a proud Republic High School girls' basketball program, Kaemyn Bekemeier left a legacy at the school that will be tough to be topped.
Bekemeier set nearly every career record you can think of, put on some of the area's great performances and left basketball fans excited for what will follow when she puts on a Lady Bears uniform at Missouri State.
Before she goes on and perhaps brings in more accolades at the collegiate level, we're excited to present her with at least one more at Republic. Bekemeier is the News-Leader's 2022-23 high school basketball player of the year.
