Waynesville grad Juwan Morgan went unselected during Thursday night's NBA Draft but he's still going to get his chance to prove he belongs.
Morgan agreed to a deal with the Utah Jazz as an undrafted free agent, according to The Athletic NBA reporter Michael Scotto who cited league sources.
The local star just finished his senior year at Indiana. He ended his career with 85 starts in four seasons while averaging 10.7 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game.
The 6-foot-8, 232-pound forward worked out with the Indiana Pacers, Chicago Bulls and Sacramento Kings in addition to nine other workouts before the draft.
