Thanks to donors, a renewed program will soon set sail on Fellows Lake.
Eric Peterson and Matt Taylor are gifting money and a sailboat to Watershed Committee of the Ozarks to jumpstart the venture.
Peterson is with Peterson Wealth Advisors and will donate $15,000, according to a news release from the committee. He learned to sail five decades ago and currently has a nearly 28-foot sailboat on Stockton Lake.
"(Peterson) is excited to see the renewed interest in sailing at Fellows Lake and the opportunity to teach more people how to enjoy the sport," the news release stated.
