Rainier Beach's Micah Monroe won the 2019 Bass Pro Tournament of Champions Slam Dunk contest Saturday evening at JQH Arena.
The Seattle native threw down a one-handed dunk while jumping over a teammate and taking a selfie. He was given a near-perfect score with a total of 79 out of 80 on his final dunk.
Parkview's Latre Morrison qualified for the final round thanks to a perfect dunk in which he bounced the ball off the backboard to an angle where one of his assistant coaches head-butted the ball back to Morrison, who threw down the dunk on the first attempt.
