Pregame texts from former teammate spark Kreklow's career-high scoring night

Missouri State junior guard Ryan Kreklow started the season as one of the Bears' starting guards.

After Kreklow didn't score more than five points in the first four games of the season and newcomer J.T. Miller showed he was capable of being a starter, Kreklow found himself left out of the starting lineup.

Tuesday night, he came off the bench — and he made the most of his opportunity as he scored a career-high 20 points to lead the Bears to a 77-67 win over Colorado State.

Kreklow made 6-of-11 shots on the night, and his former roommate and teammate took credit for being the inspiration behind his career night.
