Pitcher Doug Still ‘outstanding’ as Bears sweep Dallas Baptist

Before the season, Dallas Baptist was picked to finish first in the Missouri Valley while Missouri State was picked to finish third.

After the Bears won on both Friday and Saturday against Dallas Baptist, Aaron Meyer said the Bears could either go up three games on the Patriots or be just up one.

Jake Burger’s two-run homer in the first was one of three Missouri State (21-10, 6-0) home runs while Doug Still was able to take care of business on the mound to give the Bears a three-game advantage in the Missouri Valley over Dallas Baptist (18-13, 3-3) after a 7-3 win.
