We asked Parkview's Blake Delacruz 20 questions. Springfield News-Leader

Blake Delacruz opened the 2017 season by rushing for 207 yards on 29 carries while appearing to be one of the better running backs in town.

Before his second game, he found he had suffered a stress fracture in his foot.

That didn't stop him.

Delacruz ran for more than 150 yards in each of his last nine games. He led the Springfield area with 2,136 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns.

Now that he's healthy, Delacruz thinks he can do even better, but he'd rather the team have a better season.
