Former Parkview High School star Tyem Freeman is no longer enrolled at Missouri State and is no longer on the basketball team, the university announced Tuesday morning.
“Tyem 100% made his decision to withdraw from MSU and has informed us that he will enroll in a two-year college to continue his development both on and off the court,” MSU head coach Dana Ford said in a release. “Although we will miss him, we are in support of his decision.”
Freeman, a freshman, was sitting out this season as a redshirt while he rehabbed from a torn ACL that he suffered during his senior year of high school.
