MARIONVILLE — Marionville head coach Paden Grubbs is the first to admit there is a unique pressure that comes with coaching his hometown team.
Not that he has any doubters right now — he has one of the best teams in Missouri on a rampage. The Comets are 10-0 and in a position to make a run at a Class 1 state title after beating Pierce City 44-6 Friday night to open districts.
A championship this year would be Paden Grubbs’s second one with the team.
