The Missouri State Bears dominated the Hampton Pirates 88-75 on Friday night, to win their seventh in a row and improve to 9-2 on the season.
Senior Alize Johnson started the game hot for the Bears, scoring the first seven points on a 3-pointer, a put-back dunk and a pull-up 15-foot jump shot. He gave the Bears an early 7-0 lead, which they did not surrender for the entire game.
Johnson said, on Thursday, he was absolutely back to 100 percent. It was evident as the senior scored 13 points and collected six rebounds in 13 minutes.
