A year ago, when Obediah Church was a true freshman playing major minutes for Missouri State’s men’s basketball team, he had to let his athleticism take over.
He admits he didn’t know a lot about what was going on, what to expect and how he was supposed to react.
So he just let his instincts take over.
It’s different this season, when still only a sophomore, he’s taken on a role as a seasoned veteran on the team, on and off the court.
“My first year was a weird feeling, coming straight out of high school,” Church said.
