The last the Lady Bears hosted Drake at JQH Arena, they needed a thrilling comeback and Sydney Manning's shot at the buzzer to knock off the Bulldogs.
On Friday night, the Lady Bears didn't need any of that.
Missouri State (7-2, 3-0) returned to JQH Arena for its first home game in over a month for a 73-72 win over Drake (7-7, 5-2). The two will play again at JQH Arena on Saturday at 5 p.m.
The Lady Bears didn't rely on their stars in the first half to build an early lead.
