After not playing a home game in over a month, the Lady Bears swept one of the top teams in the Missouri Valley Conference and showed they are playing at a championship-level.
No. 25 Missouri State (8-2, 4-0) finished off the sweep over Drake (7-8, 5-3) with a 78-63 win over the Bulldogs on Saturday evening at JQH Arena. The Lady Bears have swept the Bulldogs for the second-consecutive year.
The Lady Bears will stay at home for a rare Wednesday afternoon game against Southern Illinois.
Missouri State couldn't have asked for a better start to Saturday's game.
