Months after COVID-19 canceled a historic season, the Lady Bears are still playing at a high level.
No. 24 Missouri State (1-0) took care of Florida Gulf Coast with ease in a 74-49 win at the #BeachBubble at the Gulf Coast Showcase on Friday evening.
The win sets up an important early-season showdown with No. 12 Maryland scheduled for Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
MSU dominated seemingly from the opening tip as it jumped out to a 27-6 lead by the end of the first quarter. The Lady Bears extended that lead to 49-18 by halftime.
