VALPARAISO, Ind. — After a tough game in Chicago on Friday that required a buzzer-beater to win, the Lady Bears didn't require such heroics in northwest Indiana.
The No. 19 Missouri State Lady Bears won 81-68 over Valparaiso on Sunday afternoon.
The Lady Bears (12-2, 2-0) will return to JQH Arena for a pair of important games against the Missouri Valley Conference's Iowa programs — Drake and Northern Iowa.
