For the first time in the history of the storied Lady Bears program, Missouri State finished the regular season without a loss in conference play.
The Lady Bears (20-2, 16-0) finished off their regular season with an 85-44 beatdown of Evansville (6-17, 2-16) on Saturday night in southwest Indiana.
Missouri State now enters the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament as the No. 1 seed. It will play the winner of eighth-seeded Southern Illinois and ninth-seeded Indiana State on Friday at 11 a.m. at the TaxSlayer Center in Moline, Illinois.
Saturday's win was perhaps the Lady Bears' most dominant of the season.
