When the postseason field is announced on Nov. 21, Missouri State should hear its name called for the second-straight season.

With the No. 14 Bears' 34-27 win over No. 20 Northern Iowa, they have set themselves up in a solid position to host a historic FCS Playoff game at Plaster Stadium.

Bears starting quarterback Jason Shelley completed a 55-yard touchdown pass to Naveon Mitchell with 58 seconds remaining to come away with the go-ahead score.

Missouri State (7-3, 6-2) is a seven-game winner for the first time since Del Miller led the Bears to a 7-4 record in 1996.
