Nixa star running back Ramone Green II will stay home and will play his college football in southwest Missouri.
The News-Leader's 2022 high school football player of the year announced on Sunday afternoon that he has committed to Missouri State.
The all-state running back is coming off a season in which he led the area with 2,223 rushing yards and 32 touchdowns. It followed a junior season that he was forced to miss the majority of while dealing with a broken collarbone.
Green broke out as a sophomore when he rushed for 1,300 yards and 18 scores.
