BOLIVAR — Nixa appeared to be the state-contender it's been considered all season during its 68-44 thrashing of Lee's Summit West during Saturday night's Class 6 quarterfinal.
“It’s an emotional win for us,” head coach Jay Osborne, coaching in his last season, said. “It's so hard to get here, it's so hard to achieve at this level in this game and it feels good to be playing another week.”
Nixa came out playing like they had something to prove.
