Nixa star basketball player Kael Combs announced that he will play college basketball at Wyoming.
The News-Leader's 2022-23 Boys' Basketball Player of the Year made the announcement on Saturday night on his social media accounts. He was also pursued by Missouri State, Abilene Christian, Southeast Missouri State and Northwest Missouri State.
The 6-foot-4, 190-pound explosive athlete will play basketball when he had a handful of Division I offers to play football. While being an all-state level player for the last two seasons, he exploded in the final months of his senior year of high school to become a sought-after player on the basketball court.
