Springfield Public Schools announced Monday that Chaminade has been replaced in the 2022 Bass Pro Tournament of Champions.
New Madrid County Central will take Chaminade's place in the highly-anticipated 2022 event that will feature Sierra Canyon and Bronny James.
New Madrid County Central features Missouri's No. 1 prospect in the Class of 2024 — a 6-foot-6 sophomore named Jadis Jones. The team also includes Missouri's No. 5 sophomore in Brandon Williamson — who was a First Team All-State performer a year ago.
In June, Chaminade was announced as a replacement team for Putnam City (Oklahoma City) who is now under contract to appear in the tournament in 2023.
