AURORA — It was the second road game in two weeks for the Tigers. It was the first truly cold night of the season. But they were ready.
It was a slow first quarter for the Nevada Tigers and the Aurora Houn’ Dawgs, each scoring a touchdown to start.
After that, the Tigers took over.
Nevada won 39-20, and it couldn’t have been a better ending to the regular season.
There were a lot of nerves before the start of the season, for obvious reasons.
