For the second time this year, the Missouri State men's soccer team enters the NCAA Tournament with the hopes of going on a long postseason run.
Missouri State (17-1) will host Creighton (8-7-2, 5-4-1) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday at 6 p.m. at Betty and Bobby Allison South Stadium.
The Bears head into the tournament as the No. 10 in the nation, according to the latest College Soccer News poll. They are the only team in the nation with 17 wins along with the highest winning percentage.
Creighton, a former Missouri Valley Conference rival, makes its way back to Springfield after earning an at-large bid out of the Big East.
