Young basketball players have the chance to learn about the game from an eight-year NBA veteran.
Kickapoo alum Anthony Tolliver hosts his seventh annual Anthony Tolliver Basketball Camp on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at the Courts E-Zone in Springfield. Tollivar said he enjoys returning to his hometown each summer to teach kids about basketball and about life.
“It’s a basketball camp, but basketball is just a way for me to grab their attention. I really focus a lot on developing good people and good habits,” Tolliver said. “I talk about nutrition. I talk about not playing video games as much.
