A native plant sale is scheduled for next week, but residents need to submit orders now in order to participate.
Missouri Prairie Foundation and Watershed Committee of the Ozarks will hold the pre-order only native plant sale from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 8 at Ozark Empire Fairgrounds. The pick-up will be at Gate 10, which is on the north side of the fairgrounds on Smith Street.

You can pre-order native trees, shrubs, wildflowers, grasses and more from four vendors across Missouri, said Carol Davit, the prairie foundation's executive director, via news release.
