Missouri State head basketball coach Dana Ford shared more details regarding the absence of senior big man Obediah Church during his weekly radio show Thursday night.
On Bears Hotline with Art Hains, the coach said he knew "a day or two" before the team's Arkansas Pine-Bluff win that Church would not be in attendance.

"I'm a new coach," Ford said. "In fairness to Obediah, he didn't sign up to play for me as the coach. When I did become the coach, he decided to stay.
