Missouri State passed on Jackie Stiles for the Lady Bears head coaching positions when it hired Amaka Agugua-Hamilton, but that doesn't mean she'll never lead her alma mater from the sideline.
In a recent interview with the News-Leader, Missouri State President Clif Smart spoke about the university's decision to pass on the Lady Bears legend in favor of Agugua-Hamilton while also hinting there could be a Stiles reunion in the future.
"If we look at the history of our women's program, the coach we just hired is going to be tremendously successful and go off and be a Big 5 coach and a position will open or she won't and in 4, 5, 6 years from now, we'll be hiring a new coach," Smart said.
