For the first time since 2004, the Lady Bears are ranked during the regular season.

The USA Today Coaches Poll ranked Missouri State as the No. 22 team in the country after starting the season 4-1.

This is also the earliest in the season the Lady Bears have been ranked since the 2000-01 season that ended with MSU in the Final Four.

So far this season, the Lady Bears have a road win at previously-ranked Minnesota, a win against at an NCAA Tournament team in Boise State and they pulled off a 20-point comeback to beat Oklahoma on the road.
