The Lady Bears' loss on Thursday night appeared to be the end of their NCAA Tournament hosting dream but after they grabbed a solid road win on Sunday and a bunch of other teams lost around them, MSU might have a second life.
That second life didn't come into reality when the NCAA women's basketball selection committee revealed its second and final Top 16 ranking on Monday night.
Missouri State (24-4, 14-2) was left out of it but there are teams on the border that it might have a better resume than as the NCAA Tournament nears.
