The Lady Bears (2-0) came out victorious in their home opener with a 79-51 victory over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
Missouri State's win also advances it to the second round of the Preseason WNIT. The Lady Bears will play the winner of late Friday night's game between Boise State and Portland State on Sunday or Monday.
