Missouri State forward Alize Johnson said he will travel to Massachusetts this weekend to work out for the NBA's Boston Celtics.
Johnson, who was a first-team All-Missouri Valley Conference selection as a junior this past season, has declared for the NBA Draft but plans to return to school next season.
Johnson told the News-Leader that Sunday's workout in Boston will be his first formal workout with an NBA team since announcing last month that he would test the draft waters.
"I’m very excited just for the opportunity," Johnson said. "This has been a dream for me.
