MSU football notes: Bobby Petrino returns to Arkansas to lead Bears vs. Central Arkansas

In his 175 games as a college football head coach before taking over at Missouri State, Bobby Petrino had never been shut out.

It took just one game for that to happen in Springfield.

Petrino, who has a track record of turning programs around, saw his team lose 48-0 to one of the top college football programs in the country in his debut against Oklahoma on Sept. 12.

He knows he has some work to do to turn a program that hasn't done a lot of winning in the last three decades into an FCS playoff-caliber program.
