MSU baseball Bears keep winning, so coach Keith Guttin won't shave his mustache

Bears head coach Keith Guttin talks about the decision to keep his mustache past Mustache March.

Keith Guttin started growing a mustache near the beginning of March.

The players were participating in "Mustache March" where they grew out their mustaches. Guttin was hesitant to participate at first, but the team kept winning, so he caved in.

Now that March is over, the players have broken out the shaving cream, but their skipper has chosen to keep the whiskers above his lip.

Why?

"The mustache stays until the results warrant change," Guttin said after the team's weekend sweep over Evansville.
