Missouri women's basketball hoped for a bit of redemption in the consolation bracket of the WNIT's Fort Worth region Saturday morning.
Less than 24 hours after a late collapse against Fresno State — in which the Tigers led by 20 points midway through the third quarter before losing by three — they faced Arizona State, which lost to Rice on Friday.
Neither offense executed to its peak performance in the matinee matchup, but the usually efficient Missouri attack was derailed more throughout the contest, as the Tigers fell 50-39 to the Sun Devils at the Wilkerson-Greines Activities Center.
