Missouri softball traveled to face No. 17 Tennessee over the weekend in hopes of furthering its case to host one of the 16 NCAA regionals.
The No. 15 Tigers did just that, concluding the regular season with a series victory.
Coach Larissa Anderson and Co. took care of business Saturday and Sunday, locking up 7-4 and 5-3 wins, respectively, after losing 4-0 on Friday. The Tigers (37-14) clinched the No. 4 seed in this week's Southeastern Conference Tournament.
Missouri was one of the 20 regional host site finalists chosen by the NCAA last month.
