As Missouri senior Jessica Yuen steps into the tee box at the University of Louisville Golf Club for her opening swing of NCAA regionals on Monday, it will mark a complete comeback in her college career.
Yuen first made the NCAA Tournament as a freshman in 2017 but hasn't competed at the highest level in college golf since. That's mostly due to injuries and other ailments.
It was in September 2018 when Yuen first felt pain in her right wrist.
Playing at a tournament in the Nashville, Tennessee, area, her hand started to go numb.
