Missouri head men's basketball coach Cuonzo Martin in April mentioned the types of players he wanted to fill out his 2021-22 roster.
On that list was an experienced frontcourt player.
On Wednesday night, more than a month after the Tigers added their last transfer, they garnered a commitment from a power forward. Ronnie DeGray committed to Missouri via social media after spending this past season at UMass.
DeGray is a former three-star high school prospect who held an offer from Missouri before joining the Minutemen.
The 6-foot-7, 220-pound DeGray averaged 8.7 points and 4.6 rebounds per game while shooting 37% from 3-point range during his only season at UMass.
