Missouri students take home national archery championship wins at South Carolina tourney

With 800 schools participating, several local students took home wins for the National Archery in the Schools Program earlier this month.

The NASP Open and Championship tournaments were held June 10-12 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with students competing in Bullseye and 3D archery competitive shooting, according to Missouri Department of Conservation.

Missouri students competed as members of the Missouri National Archery in the Schools Program, which is coordinated through MDC, Missouri Conservation Heritage Foundation and Conservation Federation of Missouri.

More than 85,000 Missouri students participate in the MoNASP program. It is an affiliate of NASP for students in grades 4 through 12.
