OXFORD, Mississippi — The rain flooded out the Missouri State dugout — and it also flooded out chances of playing Game 1 on Friday.
Game 1 of the NCAA Tournament Oxford Regional has been moved to noon Saturday due to poor field conditions.
Missouri State and Tennessee Tech were scheduled to play at 2 p.m. Friday.
Teams warmed up on the field until lightning was seen in the area around 1:20 p.m.
Starting pitcher Dylan Coleman was scheduled to pitch before the delay. Tennessee Tech was going to go with Travis Moths, who is 13-2 on the season with a 3.
