Missouri State's magic soccer season ends in second round of NCAA Tournament

Missouri State's first defeat of the season was a costly one, as it ended their year in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Just 43 seconds into overtime, UCF's Gino Vivi got loose on the right side and crossed a ball beautifully onto the foot of the Knight's star forward, Cal Jennings, who put it in the back of the net for a 2-1 win.

It was a tough break for the Bears, which had held off UCF for much of the night. Despite the Knights dominating possession and getting several shots on net, junior goalkeeper Michael Creek and the rest of the defense mostly managed to hold the opponents at bay.
