Donovan Clay hasn't been shy about his goals for this upcoming season.
One of the three returning Bears from last season, Clay has made the bold statement on multiple occasions during the preseason that he believes he's capable of being the Missouri Valley Conference's player of the year by the season's end.
"It's just the goal I have this year," Clay said. "I feel like I've been putting in enough work to get it. We're going to see. I'm ready."
Clay has quickly been inserted into a leadership position for a Bears team that has 14 newcomers on the roster.
