Believe it or not, the first third of the 2025 college football season for Missouri State University is done. In that time, the Bears have gone 2-2, squared off against massive opponents, annihilated an old Football Championship Subdivision foe and finished their non-conference schedule.
It’s time now to turn to Conference USA and where the Bears will end up in their new league and the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) as a whole.
First up on the MSU conference slate is a Y2K-era foe and the alma mater of head coach Ryan Beard and offensive coordinator Nick Petrino – Western Kentucky University.
